Keeping his financial information a secret
Is it illegal for me to get a copy of my soon to be ex's bank statements for the purpose of proving that he is witholding income information so that he does not have to pay more child support. I am not listed on this bank account.

Whta you are referring to is permissible via discovery in your divorce case, and is not illegal, but certain procedures must be followed. If you do not have an attorney, you would be well advised to retain one if you believe your husband is withholding information and/or concealing assets.
