Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I have a legal question regarding whether or not a verbal agreement is binding in the State of Michigan. In February of 2011 my wife agreed to pay me $250 a month for five years to cover a loan on a new 2011 Chevy Malibu. Later that year I paid the loan off and collected only four payments from my wife. My wife filed for divorce in the fall of 2011 and we are now divorced as of June 2012. In the divorce decree my ex-spouse was awarded the 2011 Chevy Malibu free and clear of any claim of Defendant. During the divorce I made no mention of the verbal agreement that we had regarding that vehicle. Can I now take this issue to court and ask for the remainder of payments be made?

No. You are foreclosed because the divorce judgement resolves all disputes between husband and wife. This would be a loser in court. Sorry
