Minor girlfriend is pregnant

Im currently 22 and my girlfriend is 17 we found out that she is pregnant 2 1/2 months ago is there anything that can happen to me if i claim the baby or can the mother file for stat. rape or anything along those lines?

also would it be safe to sign the birth certificate? i dont know if the hospital do any checks for age or anything.
