Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I as the personal rep of my mothers estate recieved monies from the state of Michigan from unclaimed division. Does her husband that was seperated from her for several years prior to her death have any legal rights to these monies?

Yes, that money as well as a large chunk of the whole estate. Separated couples are not divorced and therefore barring a will to the contrary, the husband has rights to the estate. You should be discussing this with a probate attorney ASAP to make sure you are handling the estate correctly.
