quitting school and child support

do you have to continue child support if the child is 16 and quits school.

Re: quitting school and child support

Yes, you must keep paying, unless he child becomes emancipated. Quitting school at 16 does not cause the child to be emancipated. You will have to continue child support until the child is 18.
