Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

my ex. relocated with my daughter to mi. because she got married 300miles away then divorced within 1year. she had started nursing school at the time. have c/o visitation once a month. since she had divorced she claimed after she graduates from school she would move back now she says she is thinkingabout finding work further away because she could make more money. Is there anything i can do to stop her would a court give me custody because she is purposely trying to end my relationship with my child. all our family lives here in ohio, she would be taking 2 kids 9 and 7 to another state. She would have no one to watch children and i can only imagine the odd hours as a nurse.

Michigan has a change of domicile statute that governs situations like this. In regard to a change of custody, I need much more information in order to give you my opinion on the potential success of such a motion. Contact me to discuss. I would be happy to assist you. I have had great success in either situation (change of domicile / custody).
