Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My wife and I are going to get a divorce,we live in the state of Michigan, we want to set up a custody arrangement that will make it so neither of us has to pay child support and we share our 2 children equally. She recieves social security disability benefits from the state which we think could be a factor. What sort of arrangement would be best in this situation?

The custody and child support agreement can be made part of your divorce and included in your final judgment. You would need to state to the court why you and her are waiving child support before the court approves the agreement. The fact that your wife recieves social security disability benefits is not an issue.
