do i have any recourse for a suit against my boss. i was hurt on the job an they are fighting workman comp. she let the insur. laps. old ins. died on may 20. i got hurt on june 2 and she didn't get insur. until june 22. she started paying me then she quiet. in the mean time i have lost a truck. i am on the verge of losing a van and my house.

Yes you do. All companies who do business in Michigan are required to carry workmen's compensation insurance. Any capable attorney will be able to assess your situation and advise you of our rights and potential recovery. This is nothing to sit on. You need to be aware of the statute of limitations for bringing a claim.
