Legal Question in Immigration Law in Michigan

I am a college student, immigrated from mexico, holding a TD visa. I am pursuing a nursing degree and hope to finish that. What should I do in order to stay in the US. Apply for work H1? How long is the wait for that? Should I change to an F1 in the mean time? I believe my TD expires in a year and im more than a year away from finishing my degree. M.

For an H1-B visa one needs a college degree and a job offer. For TN visa for Mexican, one would need a college degree and a job offer as well. A foreign student can apply for a Student visa, F1.
