Legal Question in Immigration Law in Michigan

I was married in May of 2008 in Egypt. My wife is American and my sponsor. I arrived to the US in June of 2009 after receiving my permanent resident visa. My wife is now 4 months pregnant. By surprise, my wife served me with divorce papers one month ago stating that she wanted to reconcile with her former boyfriend. She and her family have physically threatened me and told me that I must leave the US and give up any custody of my unborn child. She has taken all the money I brought from Egypt. I have been told that I must leave my apartment by next week and I have no means to afford a new residence. I do not want to return to Egypt at this time because I do not want to abandon my child. I would appreciate any counsel on my rights. 1. Where can I get free representation for my divorce and immigration issues? 2. Because she is my sponsor, does she have the right to force me out of the apartment? 3. What legal steps must I take to prevent her from evicting me and keeping me from my child? 4. Will I be forced to leave the US when my permanent resident visa expires (2 years) or will I have the right to stay because of my child?

I am sorry to hear about your situation. It seems that there is a big number of legal issues, and it's simply impossibly to advise you here on the public forum.

Yes, having a conditional green card (valid for 2 years) places you in a difficult situation where you will have to take certain legal steps in order to prove that you are eligible to keep a permanent resident status.

No, having a child who is a USA citizen doesn't give you an automatic right to stay in USA.

To get a help of immigration lawyer, you will need to hire one (there are no free immigration lawyers). As to a divorce lawyer, it's likely that you will have to hire one, too, unless you can find some free legal clinic or free legal aid in your community and they'll agree to take your case (which is not guaranteed).
