forcing ownership
I have an oral agreement with my landlord for renting the property I'm living in. We've had lots of problems back and forth and one night he told me he'd just give me the trailer I'm renting if I'd leave. I found out later that the trailer isn't his to give, only to rent. Can I sue him and make him give me the trailer since he told me in an email that he would?

No - the "contract" he made with you was illegal since he did not own the property he said he would give you, so you cannot sue him for the trailer.
