Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
Landlord-tenant, commercial suite, in SE Michigan: I received a court summons to appear Feb 2nd in court for non-payment of rent and to be evicted. How long before they actually evict me? Does the court allow you time to gather your business furniture and files, etc.?

The court must give you ten days to move before a writ of eviction can issue where a court officer will throw your belongings to the street.
