Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan
Is my contract voidable?
I had a contractual agreement with my former employer that I am given a tutition reimbursement each term, but I must give most (80%) of the monetary sums back if I don't work there until two full years after graduation from college. Is this contract fair and reasonable, for me to have to deal with? Is there any way to make it voidable? Does the fact that the date written on the signed contract is incorrect (sloppy and penned-in for months before I accepted the employment or even knew the company existed)? Thank you.
