Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

car accident

I liv in Michigan and have pl-pd, I was rear ended in the state of Ohio and was injured he hit at 120 mph, I have nerve damage and a serious neck injury. Do I half to sue him in Ohio or in Michigan, or do I have a case? thank you, Forrest Risner

This is not my specialty but it is my partners, Ron Barron who has specialized in these type of case for 35 years and is a great attorney. You probably will have to sue in Ohio since the accident happened in Ohio unless the at fault driver was a resident of another state.

Also as a Michigan resident and assuming you have Michigan insurance coverage you could be entitled to lost wages, reimbursement for care expenses, home maker expenses and all other type of benefits.

Dear Mr. Risner: I need more information on this including whether you were in your own car or a passenger or pedestrian? If you were in a car, is that car registered and insured in Michigan? Where is the other car registered and insured?
