Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

i reported a hit n run and the officer gave me a ticket according to his interpretation of my merging into one lane not allowing the cars to speed up the right and then slow down to get in up front ..he said that i was using improper lane usage and wrote me a ticket all the while the other guy that was behind me came around to my left inthe the center lane and my lane and then side swiped me ...and i get a ticket for reporting such ...just does not seem logical. this happened in westland,Michigan
