Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

easement

I have a 2.8 acre lot that has my home on it. My neighbor has a 10 foot easement that crosses my property and goes down a second driveway I have, and up the hill on the back property line.

The easement is for a septic line. The line was installed 2 years ago.

He claims he owns that land. I say he doesn't. Who is correct?
