Can my mortgage company foreclose on me for a history of late payments, or do I actually need to be behind in payments

Re: foreclosure

Usually no. However, it depends on the terms of your contract with them. I doubt they would seek this action, unless they have lost faith you are going to pay, which doesn't make sense if you are current on your payments right now. Banks are flooded with non-paying customers and foreclosures and simply don't have time to foreclose on someone who is actually paying.

Re: foreclosure

I would have to read the Promissory Note connected to your mortgage, but in reality I don't think your mortgage company is going to bother foreclosing if you are current. They would rather have the stream of money coming in than foreclose and lose money. If you are being threatened foreclosure by your mortgage company due to your history of late payments, please feel free to contact me,I might be able to assist you.
