Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
off duty officer
an off duty officer in his own car caught my son speeding. he didn't pull him ofer but four days after the incident i was called about it and my son got a ticket. is this legal?

Not sure if it's LEGAL, but it certainly may entail some evidentiary problems - i.e. how did the officer track the speed - therefore making the case one that could be dismissed with the help of an attorney. You should call one soon!
