Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
Dwsl
My license was suspended for OWIL and I was in the process of filing to get it back when I was ticketed for speeding and DWSL. What are the chances I will have to serve jail time? and what can I expect to have happen?

all sentences depend on two things, your record and the specific Judge you have on the case. You should also have competent legal counsel. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz

Your ultimate sentence will depend on your entire criminal and driving history, and each police agency and prosecutor handles charges differently. I would strongly suggest you retain a lawyer to negotiate the best deal possible, as a DWLS is a misdemeanor.
