Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
After my Aunt passed, the will was recorded in the county she lived in by a cousin of mine. The will gifted her all powers as a personal representative. Our family does not believe my Aunt would do this. After closer look at the will we noticed the notary page was dated prior to the actual document was created. I believe that she drafted a template will, typed in relevant names and attached the document to a page that most likely followed the authentic will. Any advice?

You need to obtain an attorney and object to the will. We just had this specific case. Cousins presented a will to court naming her personal rep and sole beneficiary, the will was dated 20 years ago. We hired a document expert and concluded the will used a font and spacing not in existence for a decade after the date of the will.
Estate was multi million and dousing ended up with not much and was kept out of criminal proceedings.
We are located in Oakland county but have clients all over the Don L. Rosenberg
