Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

I would like to know if a beneficary is listed on Edward Jones and Scottsrade investments, but in the will money is suppose to be divided according to the will three ways, which one supersedes the other. Can the beneficiary just walk away with the money. I live in Michigan.
