Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Brother-in-law passed away with a wife of 2 years and 2 months.The farm/land was his prior to the marriage,been the family farm since 1959. His wife's name not on any paper work only the marriage license ,she say she has a right to 1/4 of the $$$/land
