Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Inheritance Issue

My uncle, who is the executor of my deceased grandmother's will/trust, is withholding/delaying disbursement of the monies. He has failed to reply to any and all inquiries. None of us have received any form of written documentation as to why there has been a delay. He has promised that the monies would be delivered time and time again, but we have been waiting patiently for 8 months. Frankly, we no longer feel confident in his word on the matter, as he's given us countless dates that the monies are on their way, yet nothing comes of it. He has refused to contact any of the beneficiaries to offer updates. My grandmother passed away in April 2007. Myself as well as the other beneficiaries are at a standstill and need some immediate legal advice as we've been told that should this matter continue on into a new fiscal year, the likelihood of our uncle successfully hiding/or misappropriating funds would be far easier for him to do.

My need is a little more urgent as I have a terminal illness and have been waiting for this money that was willed to me, to live out the remainder of my life as I have been too ill to work for the last several months.

Everyone seems to have lost hope that the monies are still on their way. Please help.
