Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

I'm being suied for money I borrowed from family to buy a home. I tried to pay this person the payments before he took me to court but they wouldn't take the payments. Now he wants a mortars Lien on the home with outstanding requests. I have put all payments in the bank with proof. What rights do I have
