Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

Wondering if someone with m.s. and a disabled husband can get state or federal g

I have a friend in Michigan who has multiple sclerosis, and her husband disabled at work three years ago. They have no income and may lose their house. I've heard that the government pays people sometimes who have disabilites etc. Is this true, and if so, how can she apply for it?? Thank you!

Tell her to contact me. She would most likely qualify for some type of Social Security. The husband's workers comp situation may need to be addressed.
