Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota

Am i able to file bankruptcy on student loans if they are financially strapping me to where i can not afford my regular monthly living expenses. Right now i am currently unemployed but was having wages garnished from my paychecks when i was working.

As a practical matter, most people cannot get rid of their student loans in a bankruptcy. There is a hardship exception to the rule that such loans are not dischargeable. However, if you are not paralyzed from the neck down, your chances of getting a student loan discharged are slim.
