Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
Signature Stamps and Notary
If a signature must be notarized, can a signature stamp be used? Is the issue actually witnessing the signature and who has written/stamped it or that it must be written by that person.
Application of this would pertain to contracts, real estate and other general business documents.
What type of documents may not be signed using a signature stamp? Are there any other implications regarding notarized signatures and the use of the signature stamp?

To notarize a signature, a notary must attest that the person signing (or using a signature stamp) is the person identified in the document as the signatory
