Trade Secrets
When an employee creates a new recipe or process on the grounds of the employer who owns the trade secret? How does this change when the recipe or process is created offsite without use of any of the employers materials?

Re: Trade Secrets
This is a contract matter. Many employers require contracts which assumed ownership of all inventions, etc. during the term of employment. I would need to see all contracts, employee handbooks etc.
