Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Minnesota

My boyfriend and I got into an argument and he was arrested and now there is a no contact order on him it is something i don't want and either does he how do i get this removed i went to the court house and they said i had to take a victims class when i don't feel like a victim they said i have to take it at there court house so my question is do i have to take this class and what else can i do to get it removed?

Well for starters I would suggest taking the class. The more you comply with the courts recommendation, the more likely they are to comply with your request to drop the no contact order.

They are not required to drop the no contact order.

I assume you also informed the prosecuting attorney (or victim advocate) that you want the no contact order dropped?
