Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Minnesota

I was recently taken to the hospital by ambulance...my phone was dead so I WENT ACROSS THE STREET TO HAVE A NEIGHBOR TO CALL 911.. I went out my front door and left it open. The police or paramedics went inside my home and found some rooms to be quite messy. I had recently fallen(one month ago and have surgery scheduled for 4/20...the woman who cleans my home was supposed to come the day after the 911 call but is from Somalia and her mom took ill suddenly and she could not do it until 2morrow. I social worker from my county has called me and insists coming here to "make sure I can take care of myself"...I resent this as an intrusion of my privacy...by law must I let her in?

thnx

Most likely, a police officer or social worker will need to obtain a warrant or court order to access your home if you deny them entry. If you do succeed it preventing them from entering on their first attempt, they will probably be back very soon with the warrant or court order. It comes down to what kind of relationship you want with social services.
