Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota
Can't make car payment
I lost my job and at this moment cannot make my car payment. I called and talked to the place I have the loan through and submitted a work out plan. They called and told me that my only option other than making the payment is to sell the car. I need a car to drive to interviews, etc. My question is, how many months do you need to be behind in payment before they will repossess the car?

Re: Can't make car payment
These days-- not long. If you have already told them you are unemployed and can't make the payment, they might send out the REPO guys immediately to cut their losses.
Is it garaged?
Do they have your current home address?
