Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota
I just received a levy to garnish my wages for like $1900.00. This means they are going to go for the entire amount. I need to know if there are rights that I have. I cannot afford to have this take place. I am a single parent. Please help me.

The basic exemptions are found in Minn. Stat. chapter 550.37 and Chapter 571. Generally, one-fourth of your net wages (gross minus taxes) is the most that can be taken. Get hold of an attorney near you for more detail.
