Backround check

i was convicated for Domestic assault in 2000. i plead guilty and imposition of sentence stayed for 1yrs. I done every requirement and follow rule and regulations of probations. Now when i try to get jobs it appear to my back ground. its stopping me from getting jobs. what can i do? This happened in Ramsey county in MN
