internet harasment
Im being harrassed by a stocker after my engagement,Numerous emails and phone calls are being sent to Me,my parents and My fiance and Fiance's parents

You have two approaches you should take. #1: File a police report with your local police department. Detail with them all occurances of harassment. The police should then investigate the matter. #2: File an H.R.O. (Harassment Restraining Order) against this person in the county in which they live. An H.R.O. is a restraining order prohibiting future conduct by this person. A violation of the order can result in an arrest and possible jail time, among other things.
You should consult an attorney to assist you with drafting an affidavit which will need to be filed out in order to apply for an H.R.O. You will then be granted a temporary H.R.O. and a hearing will take place and a judge will determine if a longer H.R.O. should be issued.
You should take action soon to avoid your claims being rendered stale and/or to avoid risk of increased harm by this individual.
