Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Hi there. My name is Natalie and I recentley was told I had a positive UA, which is a FALSE POSITIVE UA. I've been doing outpatient treatment for about 4 months now, have passed all of my UA's except one on 4-23. I took one 4-21(PASSED), 4-23(FAILED) 4-25 (PASSED) I have been sober almot 4 months now. I told my couselor to send it back to the lab because that was BOGUS. It came back today and again it was positive. My couselor said my "levels were high" Which is crazy because again..i've been SOBER. I asked her the number for the lab she said she didn't know what it was. Basically I am kicked out of the program I am in now because of this FALSE POSITIVE so now I will have a probation violation. I left my couselor a EMAIL tonight asking for the REPORT on my UA because hopefullys he still has it because I will have a expert/MRO look at it to see how it came up positive. Any Advice? I am NOT going to JAIL for something I didn't do. I am dreading this. Please, any help...would be greatly appericated. Thank you so much.
Natalie Kadrie.

You would be wise to hire legal counsel.
Any test sample can be retested. At a probation violation hearing you have the opportunity to present evidence which may include expert testimony related to the result. For a consultation call 612.240;.8005.
