Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

dui

Is there a statute of limitation on a DUI charge in Minnesota? I was in an accident 27 months ago, license was revoked, I paid fine and reinstatement and today I received a court summons.

Re: dui

Last time I checked, the statute of limitations was three years. Don't take my word for it, however. Get yourself a lawyer to represent you in connection with this. There is something strange about the case or it would not have gone on so long without being charged.

This response does not create an attorney-client relationship and is for general information purposes only.
