Felony Stay of Imposition

I am charged with a CVO Great Bodily Harm. It looks as though I will be offered a Stay of Imposition in the plea bargain. Will this return all of my rights, specifically my right to possess a firearm after successfully completing my probation? I've read that my Civil Rights will be restored but I'm not sure how this applies to firearms.

No. A stay of imposition of sentence does not make a guilty plea to a felony charge a misdemeanor conviction(or non-felony) for purposes of gun laws in Minnesota, although it would for certain other purpsoes.
