Re: no license

You might want to check my web site at http://www.mn-dwi.com. I have a pretty extensive discussion of this topic.

You can try to get a license back by doing a petition for judicial review, asking a judge to reinstate the license. This requires that you prove there was something improper about either the arrest or the testing.

Or you can pay a reinstatement fee - $680 - and a license fee - $22.50 I think - and take the Dwi test. Pass the test and pay the fee and wait the required time period, and the license comes back.

For a first offense, the wait is 90 days OR 30 days if you plea straight up to the DWI. After 15 days of not being able to drive, a first time offender should be able to qualify for a limited license for to and from work or school.

This is for general information purposes only and does not create an attorney-client relationshiop. Please consult the attorney of your choice concerning the details of your case.
