Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Child Protection

I have a open case with child protection, due to my car accident my whole family was in(7-30-07). The driver(dad) excepted responsibility for eveything. my worker said I reached my goal with child protection, but my case needs to be open to traminate the father parenting rights. The father is in prision for 2yrs. I know he's not a threat to the kids or me. Can they keep my case open for that?

Re: Child Protection

You can be dismissed from the case and a case can be opened for the father if, indeed, theyy elect to terminate his parental rights.
