Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Child support/custody rights

I'm 7 months pregnant with my ex-boyfriend's child. He has been unsupportive and mean throughout my pregnancy and I don't feel he will be fit emotionally to parent this child with me. He refuses to live with me to raise our child, and tells me that he won't be paying for the child and I think differently. What are my rights as the mother as far as giving him permission to be with our baby? Also, what are my rights as far as getting him to help PAY for the child, regardless of his parentng and visitation rights? Is this something I'd have to take to court, to make him pay? I have been living with him for 2 years and I know that when our lease is up and he moves away, I can't afford to live by myself to raise the baby, so I feel he should have to pay for his attitude, his abandonment, and for HIS child! - help me please!!!
