Can I legally move from one state to another without working it out with her dad. We were never married and he has only seen her maybe two times a year

Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 518.175, a parent with a child shall not move the residence of the child to another state unless the other parent gives consent or there is a court order giving the parent permission to move the child, if the other parent has been given parenting time by an order.
