Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Removing Parenting Expeditor/Mediator

What happens if I am in the midst of trying to remove an expeditor and there are parenting issues that must be resolved during this period of time? Am I obligated to use that expeditor even if this expeditor has been found in violation of the ADR rules (by the ADR board)? Clearly this expeditor would be incapable of remaining objective. Thanks.

Re: Removing Parenting Expeditor/Mediator

Unfortunately, if you are filing to remove an expeditor, that expeditor will be unable to assist you. You must have a new expeditor appointed either by agreement of the parties or by filing a Motion with the court.
