Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
I'm not totally sure how this Lawguru works.
Can you please get back to me soon. I have a hearing with the judge on wednsday, and would love to get my lawyer looking at all angles to help my children. I have been the primary care giver for over 4 years. We have proof that she gives the kids Benadryl to make them sleep. We also have proof that she locks them in their rooms and takes medications herself. Family members have came to the house to wake them and nobody answers the door. I come home with the key and unlock the house to find the three year old running around unsupervised, and the baby crying in the crib with soiled diaper. My girl friend in her room with the door locked and sleeping with the fan on so she cant hear the kids. Who else do I complain to to get them to help me protect my kids. I am helpless at this point because under Minnesota law, children born out of wed lock are the sole leagle custody of the mother until a judge decides otherwise. Please help!

Since you are represented by an attorney you should be speaking to him/her directly. Your attorney has a much better grasp of what the situation is in your case.
