Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

visitation

my husbend has certain steps in his court order to see his daughter like he should be on his over nights unsupervised, but still on his first step of one hour supervised. since his ex his denying him his next step, which is two hours unsupervised, can we actually skip the two hours and go straight to the four hours, and shorten the rest of the steps up to get to where he is supposed to be with the court order since his ex is being difficult... could that be a possibilty of being a consequence for his ex? and for us?

Re: visitation

You may request such relief in court, However, the result would depend on the circumstances. Your remedy is to file a Motion for Contempt and seek to either change the parenting time order or enforce it.
