Visitation rights to a minor

my daughters grandma is taking me to court for visitation rights. i dont want here to see my daughter any more becuase here son ( the father of my child is a bad abusive man with a record a mile long and she refuses to respect my wishes what can i do to stop her

Courts make decisions with regard to grandparent's visitation based on what is in the best interests of the child. Apparently, you do not contend thatthe grandparent is a danger to the child. As a result, an court order is likely to allow the grandparent time so long as that grandparent does not use it to facilitate contact with the other parent, assuming, of course, that the other parent has no established parenting time rights.
