Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

court hearing

we are taking a contractor to court for bad workmanship and things he did not finshit is over 20,000 can we brake this down and do it thru small claims court on three differant claims. the state has ruled he is in violation of the contract we had with him the state has a fund we can get money thru to fix our house we need to get a judgement against the contractor to do this. we don't have 20 to 30 thousand for lawyer fees

If it arises out of the same contract you need to bring it in District Court. I would need to see your contract but you MAY be able to recover your atty fees in certain cases. Call or email to discuss @ no charge.
