Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Minnesota

Would the Fair Use Doctrine, in regards to copyright, allow a prosecutor to use copyrighted material as part of a court proceeding.

I.e., a copyrighted diagram of the human brain as an illustration for jurors?

In a word...yes. No court would hold that use in trial of a work would not fall under fair use.
