Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

Roommates and Pets

I have written permission from my landlord to have all of my pets in the apartment that we are currently renting. However my roommate has agreed to take care of my pets until this past weekend. I have asked her several times to drop my pets off at the farm that I have been staying at.. she refuses to do so. I have no mode of transportation to get them and they do not allow them on public transportation. If I could get them I would love to have them with me. She is now stating that she will be taking my animals to the humane society as being abandoned animals. It was an oral agreement that she would take care of them. I have continued to pay for their care at the apartment. Can she do this? Any suggestions if she does do this?

Re: Roommates and Pets

You must rescue your pets immediately. You should find transportation immediately (rent a car or a van!) or in emergency call the humane society and they may have a volunteer who could help move them.

How many and what kind of animals>?

How far to drive them to farm from current apt?
