Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
Hit & Run
I have a suspended license. Was passenger in my vehicle, driver does not have license. My vehicle hits a parked vehicle. Drove away from scene but my vehicle was damaged and only made it about an 1/8 of a mile. Both vehicles were significantly damaged. Called friend to be picked up. Did not call police, insurance or anyone. Somehow police were called. Returned to the scene about 2-3 hours later and found both vehicles to be gone. What are the legal implications and what is the best way to proceed?

You will likely be charge with a hit and run offense at the very least.
You should make no statements to the police or anyone else. You should also hire a lawyer immediately. For a consultation call us.
