Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota
missing money held by state of Minnesota
I recently found that my father(deceesed) had three insurance policies that were not included in his estate. How can I get the state to tell me what they are worth without going thru the hassle and all the paperwork until I determine if it's worth it?

All I can suggest is go to: http://www.commerce.state.mn.us/DOC_Unclaimed_Property_Lookup.htm
You probably have already tried that. I note that they do give a bit of info there about the property value.
